Mit dem Action-Sidescrolling-RPG Dex gelang Dreadlocks bereits ein kleiner Achtungserfolg. Seit einiger Zeit arbeitet das in Prag ansässige Indie-Studio an einem neuen Spiel. Das Projekt trägt den Titel Ghost Theory. Dazu ist kürzlich ein neuer Alpha-Trailer online gegangen. Er stimmt Euch auf die düstere Stimmung des Grusel-Abenteuers ein.

Ghost Theory Dev to Re-launch Kickstarter Campaign

Back in January this year indie developer Dreadlocks announced a Kickstarter crowd-funding campaign first-person ghost hunting adventure title built primarily for virtual reality (VR) called Ghost Theory. The studio looked to secure £100,000 funding for the project, but ended up cancelling it due to only attaining just under £18,000 by the fourth week. Now the team has revealed it’ll be re-launching the Kickstarter because of all the positive feedback received.

Lo scorso gennaio, lo studio indie Dreadlocks annunciò una campagna di crowdfunding per lo sviluppo di un’avventura basata sulla caccia ai fantasmi, progettata interamente per la VR e che portava il nome di Ghost Theory. Gli sviluppatori avevano come obbiettivo quello di raccogliere £100,000 di fondi per il titolo, ma finì con raggiungere solo la quota di £18,000 nel corso delle quattro settimane. Ora, il team ha rivelato che rilancerà la campagna Kickstarter, perché, in queste settimane, Ghost Theory ha ricevuto su Steam dei feedback talmente positivi che è finito nella Steam Greenlight in poco tempo. Questa reazione, da parte della comunità, ha spinto Dreadlocks a far nuovamente ripartire la campagna di crowdfunding, che inizierà in questo mese a breve; ancora nessuna data precisa è stata annunciata in merito, ma lo studio ha rilasciato, per colmare l’attesa, un nuovo pre-alpha teaser trailer, per stuzzicare la curiosità dei giocatori.
